WHY MEDITATE?
The purpose of coming together to meditate has emerged from a deeper calling as Rick Bissonnette and I (Manon Desjardins) were taking a year long intensive course with spiritual teacher - Craig Hamilton. During that time we felt more and more a longing to practice meditation with others for longer periods of time and on a regular basis. With the new virtual technology that was available it made that possible! We first started with a 3 hours event, then it became 4 hours and now 6 hours. This platform and offer has evolved with you, with the presence of the teachers at our event and of course from everyone's dedication on the spiritual path and to "AWAKEN"!
Many people have been asking us: "What kind of meditation are you practicing?" Is this a meditation course? What is meditation ?"
To be able to respond in the most accurate and simplest way we decided to put some information together for you and from our "guest teachers" as well. The meditation that we are practicing and giving ourselves to in these gatherings is called or named: "non-dual" meditation or awareness meditation practice. And yet it is not seen only as a sitting practice. It is not just another "method" to get somewhere or to get a specific outcome. Our practice is also inseparable from the context of Evolutionary Spirituality.

Here's what Dr. Elizabeth Debold says about meditation:
"… Meditation is a practice of transformative spirituality. Why? Because it challenges who we think we are at the most fundamental level. It reveals to us an ever-present dimension of reality beyond mind, time, and our embodiment through which we can recognize that we are not some object clinging for security to the surface of this spinning planet. No, we are WHAT IS. The infinite unmoveable perfection of Being, the ground of everything, itself. This realization, when taken seriously, frees us from our false identification with our personal history and all the ways things have been. The door opens to true, shattering transformation. …."
